Lake Superior - Musky
The late Muskie!

On an evening I was fishing with two friends on a boat on the Lac Supérieur in Quebec, hadn't had a bite in the whole night when just before we left I casted near a dock, pomped really fast, and got a bite. A nice muskie of 6,5 pounds (if i recall) with a W50 red and white wabler william as the bait. The red and white is a win on muskies and pikes!!

Canoe Lake, Northern Saskatchewan - Jackfish

We just came home from our annual family fishing trip to Canoe Lake in Northern Sask today after 5 days on the lake.  This is a picture of my husband, my son and myself after our daily fishing.  We caught both of these jackfish on a Williams Wabler W50 pink.  The fish were wild over them all week, they loved the silver sparkle of the hook.  We had two pink Williams and I had a fish snap my line and took mine!!!  I am going to find and buy a few more pinks to put back in the tackle box.

Northern Ontario - Speckled Trout

My Dad & I went fishing in Northern Ontario, the first time fishing the lake and 4th speckled trout i ever caught :)

In my opinion the Williams Lure is a Trophy Catcher.
This is all the proof I need ... Here's a picture of my Dad holding the fish.

Whitefish Lake, Wawa, ON - Pike
Got to the lodge on Sat afternoon. Picked up a limit of eater size walleyes in the evening.
Went out on Sunday up the river & tried for pike...........Only got one........20 minutes of work & it wouldn't fit in the net. Had to throw a towel over it & drag it in the boat !!

22# and 46" long.
My wife & son had grabbed the heavy rigged pike rods, & I was left with a light action rig with 10 LB test we had been using for walleye. I was going to tie on a hot n tot & try for small mouth bass along a small incoming creek channel while they cast for pike. I happened to see a blue & silver Williams spoon with a short steel leader lying in the top of the tackle box and tied it on instead. On the 1st cast I felt something bump it & I reeled in to check for weeds. 2nd cast.....nothing. On the 3rd cast.......kaboom !!  Fought him for 20 minutes......He ran my reel out of line twice as there was only about 100 feet of line on it since we had lost line while jigging the rocks for walleye the evening before. My son had to paddle the boat in the direction the fish was swimming to keep my line from breaking.

When I got it in the boat, I found the treble hooks on the spoon to be in both the roof & bottom of the pikes mouth.......He really nailed it & wasn't going anywhere ! The spoon was a little bent up from the fight, but held up well.

Thanks for a great quality product. Going back up again in August & can't wait to try for more.

Lake Sans Coeur - Trout

François caught three trout of 4lbs and one of 5lbs with the NEW Williams Flasher in the Silver color, (F1S-S).  Because the water was very high and the fish were staying a safe distance away, he decided to run 5' of line behind the Flasher.   This did the trick as he was the only fishman to go home that day with the Trout.

Whitefish and Lake Trout - Lake Simcoe
Had a tricky outing getting Whitefish and Lake Trout into the boat (since we forgot the net at home!). Williams Wabler Silver and Gold hammered finish (HN) was the key to enticing lots of strikes.

Another good lake trout with a Williams Dartee
I love this lure!
Caught this 30 plus inch Laker again on Lake Memphremagog trolling very slow.
Its no accident they work!

Max Reynolds - Lifelong Angler at 101 yrs old
Max Reynolds doesn't have a lot of photographs of his angling adventures.
Instead, he has a wealth of memories - of fish, of lakes, and of dear friends and loved ones long past. And these recollections, hooked and landed from more than 90 years of fishing, still seem to put a gleam in his eyes. There's little doubt that Max, who celebrates
his 101st birthday on May 14, is perhaps Ontario's most long-lived and experienced angler. He first wet a line in 1916, at the tender young age of 8. The place was Paudash Lake and he recalls being fascinated as his neighbour Mr. Wadsworth caught bass using a fishing pole, hook, and worms. That summer, young Max caught a slew of grasshoppers and decided to try them as bait. Much to his delight, he caught bigger bass than his mentor, and a lifelong love affair with fishing began. His education as an angler was furthered by a family move to the Maxwell Settlement just outside of Bancroft. There,
he recalls spending a happy childhood chasing speckled trout in the local cricks."They were everywhere back then," he says. Spend any time at all with this surprisingly spry old gentleman and you'll realize that he is a walking encyclopedia of local lakes and the fish that inhabit them. He states, matter of factly, that "I fished just about every lake in the country." Though he doesn't get out as much as he used to, he fished for brook trout in a local pond as recently as two years ago - and, characteristically, he caught several. For more than nine decades, Max went fishing every chance he could. He'd ice fish in the winter months and take to the water, trolling for his beloved trout or walleye, from ice out until season's end. Yet, despite this, his advice on angling success is relatively terse. "I'd just tell anyone to get out there and catch fish. You'll learn a bit from each outing and from each person you fish with." When it comes to techniques, gear, and lures, he kept it simple. His largest boat was a 14-foot aluminum, which he praised as stable, and his largest outboard a 9.9. His preferred angling tactic is trolling. He used steel line and says you couldn't go wrong with a gold or silver Williams Wabler or a Dardevle, depending on the lake. "There are probably better lures out there, but these worked fine." Splake, and brook trout always had a special place in his heart too and he preferred fishing for the latter in lakes rather than streams. "They grow bigger in lakes," he says. When I asked him how many fish he has caught, he smiles and says, "If they were all put in a pile, it  would be a big one. But nothing ever went to waste. We appreciated every one." Despite having caught so many fish, Max confessed that he never caught a really big one. "I once caught a 9.5-pound pickerel and some 3-pound specks, and lake trout that were near 10 pounds, but never anything much larger." He steps into his sitting room and then returns with a photo of him holding a 36-inch pike, nearing 10 pounds. It's interesting, but not nearly as fascinating as the platinum blonde wig he's wearing in the photo. He shrugs and smiles about it. "We had a good laugh that day." It doesn't take long to realize that this was probably the norm. He still seems a very happy man. Reminiscing of the old days, he says that angling was much better then. "There were fewer people fishing these lakes then. There was less pressure on them." The difference between then and now, he says, is that there were not as many regulations, and limits were more generous. Access was more difficult too. He tells stories about getting to lakes by horse and camping for three or four days at a time. There's a sense of adventure that flows out of his words and you can't
help but admire him for living in what was a less complex time. Each tale he tells still seems crisp in his mind - the names, the places, the number of fish caught. "Most of those people are gone now," he says, "and the country has changed. There are not man

Lake Erie - Steelhead & Walleye

Two friends and I made many trips to Lake Erie last summer for the Steelhead run. But this day was one to remember! Williams spoons were just on fire! We were running 2 downriggers and 3 Dipsey Divers. When we first set up the rods there was 3 Williams spoons on and 2 Michigan Stingers. Within the first hour it was very clear that the Rainbow Trout and Walleyes preferred the Williams! So we switched to all 5 rods having Williams spoons and the action really heated up! Several double headers and pretty much non stop action for the rest of the day. Ended up with 13 Steelies and 11 Walleyes. Williams Quick Silver and Whitefish were just to tempting for them to resist! Can't wait to do it again! We now only run Williams spoons when trolling Lake Erie in the summer months, can't argue with results!

Whopper Northern

I had just had another northern pike straighten out the locking swivel on my steel leader and lost a W50 gold Wabler. I immediately tied a new leader on and put on a W50 red and white Williams Wabler. This 42 inch northern pike hit the lure as soon as it hit the water, then the fight was on. This fish was caught on Jessiman Lake north of Nakina, Ontario, Canada. It is the biggest one I ever caught on any of theses fly-in trips!!!

Nice Laker

We were out fishing on the best lake in the eastern townships. Lake Memphremagog and look at what we caught a beautiful lake trout of 35 inches using one of my favorite lures the Williams Dartee. As you can see I impressed my children and they couldn't wait to go out with me the next time. I even impress my wife .Love your products use them for everything.

Bree's First Laker

After about 3 hours on the water with my brother-in-law and niece Briana, my niece locks into her very first laker on a Williams C90 Whitefish silver. After 15 minutes of battling with this 12 lb brute, we land it cleanly. This stands as the largest Lake Trout landed in my boat. Way to go Briana! You're welcome in my boat any day.

The one that got away!! Off the stringer!

Was able to land this 35 inch pike, got him in the boat and put him on the stinger and back in the water... only to then see the stinger came unclasped but still through his mouth! Slowly I bent down and raised the leader on the stringer; he flared his gills and gave a little shake. Well... you can guess the rest. Mr. Pike will be caught another day. I did catch 2 the day before on this same Williams Whitefish 28 and 25 inches. My best producing lure! I did throw away the stinger...

First Walleye

My friends and I were up on a tributary of the French River in Ontario for a "girl's weekend", and I caught my very first walleye on the "lure of choice" at the fish-camp: the Williams Wabler gold/silver (that's me in picture #1). We all fished with the same Wabler lures for the whole trip and we caught plenty of fish each and every day: pickerel (walleye), pike, even perch! Donna and Walinda are pictured with Donna's first big catch, and Ann chipped in with a nice-sized pike...all on Wablers!!! Thanks for helping to bring 'em into the boat, Williams!!!

Wabler Heaven

In the upper peninsula of Michigan the pike were few and far between until an old guy at the camp recommended that I try a Williams Wabler. What's a Wabler I asked? He gave me a couple to try. Bam the pike couldn't leave it alone. Never seen anything like it, the silver and gold were working very well. What is it about this lure? Anyone fishing for pike needs this lure. This is my wife's first pike on the Wabler. She is hooked more than I am.

St Lawrence River Northern

As I came home from school I grabbed my rod and went down to the river for a few casts before supper. On my first cast I saw the pike follow my lure in and turn at the last minute. A few casts later he was on. What a fight to get him in and out of the water. It was an 80cm Northern I caught on a Williams Wabler. Nice fish.

Algonquin Park Lakers

My brother and I were getting skunked on a new lake in Algonquin Park. I finally found my silver Williams Wabler, started trolling behind the canoe, and landed a 20" laker 5 minutes later. It was the first of several fish, and made sure I had a birthday shore lunch!

Dartee really works

It was a super hot day. We were at Lake Manitou on Manitoulin. It was mid afternoon and I got restless and told Nancy "I'm just going out to play for an hour." 20 minutes later I had on a 12 1/2 pound laker using the Williams Dartee. This lure is "stupendous" for lakers at the lake that supplies roe for most of Ontario's laker stocking programs. Later on I also got another 12 pounder here at home on Colpoys Bay out of Wiarton.....on the same lure. Cheers from Wiarton Willie country.

Lake Simcoe- A season to Remember!!!

I've fished Simcoe for years now. I always have decent success out there. But man this year was off the hook! (not literally) I used only Williams Ice Jigs all season. Nu wrinkle 1/2 & 1/2 was my go to in both sizes. But I caught fish on every colour they come in! I was never skunked out there and had many double digit fish days. I out fished my friends using minnows so bad they all quit buying them and filled there boxes with Williams. what an awesome season! Thanks a bunch guys :)

Rainbow in Colorado

Early Spring with nothing working at a large lake in southwestern Colorado, busted out a Mooselook Wobbler and WHAM! Ten (10) fish in 3 hours and nothing under 17 inches.

Double Take Laker

Judy Michaelski didn't think there were any fish in Lake George, NY until she caught this lake trout with Rod Bender Charters on a Mooselook Wobbler Junior, using 6 lb test line. Seems this fish likes the ladies, the same laker was caught and released by Anna Fortgang in 2003, also on 6 lb test. It was the first fish she had ever caught in her life. www.CAPTJJ.com

Lake Simcoe Laker Bonanza

When the bait bite was off and the fish where turning their nose up at everything you put down, the Williams came through. We pounded the lakers for 2 days putting over 50 fish on the ice and hooking up with at least that many more. 80% coming off Williams spoons. You couldn't ask for a better weekend!

Hard water Whitefish 3.10lbs and 4 lbs

I caught those whites in Quebec near Maniwaki (about 1.5 hours north from Ottawa) using a Williams Gold and Silver Ice Jig 6 feet under the ice in 45 feet of water. I also caught some tubies and a small pike that after noon.

Bahamas Barracuda

The Williams Whitefish in the larger sizes is a great lure for barracuda on the saltwater flats. Throw it out past the fish and bring it back as fast as you can reel and most of the time the fish will take it in a rush. The light weight of the Whitefish allows it to be fished in only a foot or so of water if you get it started back immediately. It is stable at high speeds which are the barracuda's favorite. Photo is of 25 pound barracuda taken on Williams Whitefish in the Bahamas.

My very first fishing adventure

I am proud to send you this photo of my catch. I was using an orange Williams Wabler for my first time fishing and caught this nice northern longer than my arm.
